Purpose
The purpose of the GO Advisory Council is to:
- Provide recognition for those who have made significant contributions either to the GO Society in GO Society roles or to the field in their practice.
- Provide a structure for continued affiliation and engagement in special GO Society projects that align with Advisory Council member strengths and interests.

- Past GO Board members - such as Harald Solaas and next to be resign Jack Fallow
- Emeritus GO affiliates - such as Jerry Harvey, Owen Jacobs,
